i mwt a rove beetle. i believe a large male. They resemble ants at first which can be used as a facade to trick and sabotage ant colonies. Anyhow, i took care of him and gave him tons of yummy food and moisture for the past few weeks inside of my basement. I was so glad i got to keep something living in there again that would enjoy it. Rove beetles love damp, old places like caves. Funfact. Back to the story, he started to twitch his antennaes like crazy and press against the glass container seperating the two of us. (Beloeving this is the reproductive organ he was rubbing against my shadow) it mafe me a bit wet thinking about a how a bug dude i just found from the wild was suddenly so eager with me. He always followed the movement and shadow of my finger , pressing himself so close afainst it it made me doubt he was only just an emotionless bug. In his eyes, i was his wife to him. His mate. im not sure how to add human customs into our relationship. i feel like id be heartbrokened once hed die like most bugs do naturally.
